Back in middle school and high school one of the hot trends were Vans. I remember I wanted a clean white pair  to wear with my rolled/cuffed socks and cut off shorts at the time. I was so happy when my parents took me to Mervyns to get a pair. What were they all about? A classic sneaker that was timeless and the brand was hot in the mid 90’s. Everyone from skaters, preppies, emos and vatos wore them. Fast forward, gosh almost twenty years and they haven’t gone out of style, everyone is still wearing them. Now that’s a brand and style that doesn’t fade. With the preppy look still going strong, these have become a staple in men’s and women’s wardrobes for the upcoming spring and summer months.
